This is a major collection of KvT's works, mainly donated by Karl and Ruth Terzaghi. The collection comprises reports, drawings, notes etc from Terzaghi's consultant jobs, as well as diaries, photos, correspondence, manuscripts, books and articles. This is a new discovery (Communicated to GVL in April 1997) of a private collection, appears quite comprehensive, includes works that may be mentioned somewhere else, and still in boxes, but in a well organized manner.

Charles Ripley, donor of the collection of Terzaghi papers in the University
of British Columbia, would prefer that the description of this collection on
the "Terzaghi Libraries..." webpage not say that we have works unavailable
elsewhere. He points out that "all the materials here are also held by the
Norwegian Geotechnical Institute. Thanks in advance for the change - we do
not wish to raise false hopes!"
