Dr. Assaf Klar is a Senior Lecturer, in the field of Geotechnology, at the faculty of Civil Engineering at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.

Assaf graduated from the Technion with a B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering in 1999. He then continued his studies in the special direct programs towards PhD, which he completed in May 2003. In the years 2003-2005 he was a research associate in the Engineering Department at the Univeristy of Cambridge, UK.
