Dr. Dilip Kumar Maharaj is an Assistant Professor at Civil Engineering Group in BITS, Pilani, India where he specializes in Finite Element Method (Analysis and Design) and Geotechnical Engineering (especially soil-structure-interaction, soil mechanics and foundation engineering, reinforced earth, environmental geotechnical engineering, earthquake geotechnical engineering). He is currently involved in supervising his Ph.D Student, postgraduate students and undergraduate students. He teaches Finite Element Method, Geotechnical Engineering subjects at postgraduate and undergraduate levels. He is also very much involved in consultancy work in Civil Engineering specially Geotechnical Engineering. He is Professor-Incharge of Civil Engineering Association for the last six years. He is having to his credit twelve publications. He is having thirteen years of teaching and research experience. He has guided more than hundred students at postgraduate and undergraduate levels.
